Getting started with QuoteCloud

Integrations for security firms, connected honestly

MCP for your AI assistant, Zapier, Make or the API for your tools' exports, and the CRM, accounting and payment apps you already use.

QuoteCloud connects to a security firm's systems four ways: an AI assistant through QuoteCloud's MCP service, Zapier and Make for your tools' exports (Zapier can write values into a quote's spreadsheet cells), the API for your own portal, and CRM, accounting, Slack, Teams, Stripe and PayPal integrations. MCP, the API and Zapier are on Essentials and up.

A fictional firm's penetration test proposal for Brightfern Software sits behind a checklist titled When Brightfern signs. Its items tick off one by one: the QuoteCloud trigger Recipient Signed Document, the deal marked won in HubSpot through Zapier, an engagement ticket opened in the firm's ticketing tool where it has a connector, a contact added in Xero, and a link to the signed PDF saved through Zapier's Generate PDF Link action. Our drawing of an automation a firm can set up.

Every system you run, and how it really connects

One row per kind of tool a security firm runs: the route into QuoteCloud, and what that route can do. No logos standing in for integrations that don't exist.

The jobHow it connectsWhat it can do
Your AI assistant QuoteCloud's MCP service, on Essentials and up. You decide what the assistant may read and do. It can be set up to find the client, create the report and quote from your templates as drafts, add catalogue lines and write a summary flagged for review. Nothing is sent without a person. See AI-drafted reports and quotes.
Your scanner or test notes Zapier or Make, where your tool has a connector. Otherwise your analyst types the counts in. A Zapier step can write the finding counts into the quote's Spreadsheet block, which sets each price line's description and unit price.
Your client portal or own systems The QuoteCloud API, on Essentials and up, with a fee per document created. Create a document from a template, fill data items and add price-table rows with label, note, price, quantity, term, tax and cost.
Ticketing, PSA, RMM and monitoring No native integration. Zapier or Make where your tool has a connector, or the API. Triggers such as Recipient Signed Document, Document Payment Event and Status Changed can start a step in your tool.
CRM Pipedrive through Zapier or Make; HubSpot and Zoho via Zapier; Salesforce; native CRM integrations on Business. Client details into the document, and the deal updated when the document is signed or its status changes.
Accounting Xero and QuickBooks Online: native on Business, otherwise via Zapier. The accepted document passes to your accounts, where your firm invoices balances and monthly fees.
Payments Stripe or PayPal, connected to your QuoteCloud account (Essentials and up). A deposit as a percentage or fixed amount, or full payment, taken when the client signs.
Slack and Microsoft Teams QuoteCloud's Slack and Teams integrations. Alerts for document updates, comments and actions in the channel your team already works in.

MCP, the API, Zapier and Make: who does what

Four ways in, each suited to a different job. None of them ticks options or chooses blocks for the client.

  • MCP

Your AI assistant can be set up to create drafts from templates, add catalogue lines and write a section for review. Give a reporting assistant read access only.

  • The API

Create documents from templates, fill data items and add price rows when the document is created. Fees per document: US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 by volume.

  • Zapier

Triggers on signing, payment, status, forms and comments; actions such as Send Document and Generate PDF Link; and values written into spreadsheet cells. Fees as for the API.

  • Make

Scenarios that create documents from templates and fill data items, for teams that already automate in Make.

A Zap that writes the counts into the quote's sheet

When your scanner's export is ready, an illustrative Zap takes the counts by severity and writes them into the Findings tab of the remediation quote's Spreadsheet block. The sheet does the rest: each row sets a price line's description and unit price, and the total comes back into a cell.

Dev Kapoor, the analyst, then checks the counts against the report. In this one he removed a high finding he judged a false positive, and the line price followed. The Zap never ticks the retest or picks options: that's the client's choice when they read the quote.

  • Zapier writes values into spreadsheet cells
  • Cells set a line's description and unit price
  • Quantities and options stay on the price table
  • An analyst checks every draft before it's sent

Setting up a route, one tool at a time

The order that keeps an automation honest and easy to check.

  1. Pick one route per tool

MCP for the assistant, Zapier or Make for exports, the API for your portal.

  2. Give the least access

Drafts but not sending; only the clients and templates each workflow needs.

  3. Map the fields

Client details to data items, counts to the sheet's cells, rows to the price table.

  4. Test with a sample client

Run it end to end and check every figure in the draft.

  5. Review before sending

Your analyst reviews and sends; the client signs and pays.

Questions about integrations and automation

Does QuoteCloud integrate with my vulnerability scanner?

Not natively. Where your scanner or reporting tool has a Zapier or Make connector, a Zap can write its counts into a quote's spreadsheet cells. Otherwise your analyst types them in, or your own systems use the QuoteCloud API to create the document. QuoteCloud never runs scans itself.

What can an AI assistant do through QuoteCloud's MCP service?

With QuoteCloud's MCP service, your AI assistant can be set up to find a client, create a document from a template, add catalogue lines and write a section for review. Documents are created as drafts, approvals still apply, and nothing is sent without a person. MCP is on Essentials and up.

Can the API write values into a spreadsheet block?

Writing spreadsheet cells is confirmed for Zapier. The API creates documents from templates, fills data items and adds price-table rows when a document is created. Use a Zapier step for cell values, or have your analyst enter them.

Is there a fee for documents created by the API or Zapier?

Yes. Documents created through the API or Zapier carry a creation fee of US$2.00, $1.80 or $1.60 each, depending on volume. No fee is stated for Make. The API, Zapier and Make are on Essentials and up.

Do Slack or Teams tell us when a quote is signed?

QuoteCloud's Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations send alerts for document updates, comments and actions. To act on a signature or payment in another tool, use a Zapier trigger such as Recipient Signed Document or Document Payment Event.
