Getting started with QuoteCloud

Monthly security reports with next month's work inside

The month in figures from your monitoring platform, the summary your analyst accepted, and recommendations the client ticks, signs and pays for.

QuoteCloud turns a monitoring platform's monthly export into a branded managed security report: the month's figures, a summary your analyst reviewed, the incidents in plain language, and recommendations as optional price lines the client ticks and signs for, with once-off items paid on signing. Your AI assistant can be set up to draft it through QuoteCloud's MCP service.

An engineered drawing of October as a plate of 31 day tiles from Monday to Sunday, the 17th raised and amber: the day of the month's one incident. Beside the month, a stack of flat blocks for each week shows the alerts the analysts reviewed, about ten alerts a block. A green line runs from the incident tile to the monthly report sheet. Below, the figures for Quenby & Hart Lawyers from the monitoring platform's export: 64 of 64 endpoints, 412 alerts reviewed, 6 escalated, 1 incident; and the recommendations for November: a phishing simulation for $900 and monitoring of two cloud tenants for $340 a month ticked, a privileged access review for $1,200 not ticked; Helena Quenby signed and $990.00 was paid on signing.

A quiet month. The one incident was a partner's laptop that opened a malicious attachment on the 17th; it was isolated within 38 minutes and nothing left the device. Patching is one point under target because of two laptops that were away on leave.

The upsell lives inside the report

Every monthly report ends with recommendations as optional lines: a once-off phishing campaign, monitoring for the cloud tenants, a privileged access review. Helena ticks what she wants and signs.

Once-off items are paid on signing through Stripe or PayPal. A monthly add-on shows as 'Added to your monthly agreement' and is invoiced by Northlatch: QuoteCloud doesn't bill it.

Helena QuenbyCan the phishing campaign wait until after the 20th? We have a trial that week.

Priyanka, NorthlatchYes, we'll run it from the 24th and report it in December.

What changes in the monthly cycle

Same platform, same analysts. Less pasting, and the next piece of work agreed in the report itself.

Getting the figures Screenshots from the monitoring platform pasted into last month's slides. The export's figures in your report template; your AI assistant can be set up to draft them for review.
The incident A separate incident email the partners never read. Four lines in the report, with times from the case record.
Next month's work A follow-up email after the report call, often forgotten. Optional lines in the report, ticked and signed by the client.
Getting paid An invoice raised a week later for the once-off work. Once-off items paid on signing; monthly add-ons on your next invoice.
Telling your team Someone forwards the signed email to the service desk. A Zapier trigger, Recipient Signed Document, can create a ticket in your service desk tool through its Zapier connector.

Where the figures come from

Your platform counts. Your analysts explain. QuoteCloud gets it signed.

QuoteCloud doesn't collect alerts or measure anything. The figures are yours, from your monitoring platform's monthly export; QuoteCloud turns them into a report with the next step priced inside.

Monthly report questions

Can QuoteCloud pull figures from my monitoring platform?

Not directly. Your platform exports its monthly figures; your analyst, a Zapier or Make step where your tool has a connector, or your AI assistant through QuoteCloud's MCP service puts them into a report from your template. QuoteCloud doesn't collect alerts or measure anything.

Does QuoteCloud bill the monthly add-ons?

No. A monthly item shows in the report as added to the client's monthly agreement, and you invoice it as usual. Once-off items can be paid on signing through Stripe or PayPal. QuoteCloud doesn't run recurring billing.

How do clients approve recommendations?

Recommendations are optional lines in the report's price table. The client ticks the ones they want, the totals update, and they sign. Payment on signing covers the once-off items.

Can a signed report open a ticket in my service desk?

With Zapier, yes, if your service desk tool has a Zapier connector. The trigger Recipient Signed Document starts the Zap; the ticket is created in your tool.

Who writes the monthly summary?

Your analyst, or your AI assistant through QuoteCloud's MCP service as a draft. Either way it's marked for review until a person accepts or rewrites it, and nothing is sent without a person.

Can the client ask questions about the report?

Yes. Clients comment in the document and your team replies there, so questions and answers stay with the report. Tracking shows when it was opened and for how long.
