Pallets × weeks × rate, receiving, pick and pack and packaging worked out from the customer's forecast, an onboarding plan, and the set-up deposit paid on signing.

QuoteCloud lets 3PL and warehousing operators price proposals from the customer's forecast in a Spreadsheet block: storage per pallet per week, receiving, pick and pack and packaging set the monthly lines. Add an onboarding plan, terms and options to tick; the customer signs and pays the set-up deposit online.

A drawing of a run of warehouse racking at Wexmoor's Eastvale warehouse, three bays by four levels, where each drawn pallet position stands for 10 pallets of a 220-position zone, with a pick face on the floor level, a pack bench with cartons in front and a live route from the aisle to the pack bench and out to dispatch. An enlarged detail shows one pallet position on its beam with the location label A-03-2. The forecast takes turns: quiet months, 120 pallets stored, $2,494.08 a month; the forecast average, 180 pallets, $3,741.12 a month; and peak, 220 pallets, $4,572.48 a month. In each, the Storage tab multiplies pallets by 4.33 weeks by $4.80 a pallet a week in cell B5, which sets the description and unit price of the proposal's pallet storage line.

Change the forecast and every monthly line follows
Prospects revise their forecast during the sale. Move the sliders: they stand for the typed cells of the Storage tab, and the charge cells, the connected monthly lines and the estimate all follow.
In QuoteCloud your team types the new forecast into the sheet, and the connected lines take their new descriptions and prices. The quantity on each line stays at one month.

An onboarding plan the customer can see week by week
A 3PL move is a project: the item file, racking, the web store connected to the warehouse system, first stock, test orders and go-live. The Gantt chart in the proposal shows each step and who's waiting on what.
Ask for the onboarding answers you need, such as SKU count, carton sizes and the web store's platform, inside the proposal with a Forms block, so they come back with the signed document.

3PL proposal questions, answered
Does QuoteCloud bill our monthly storage charges?
No. Monthly charges are shown in the agreement as repeating lines at your rates; you invoice actual volumes from your own systems. QuoteCloud can take a set-up deposit or full payment on signing through Stripe or PayPal, on Essentials and up.
Can the proposal show how each monthly charge is worked out?
Yes. Put your pricing model in a Spreadsheet block in the proposal: the forecast in typed cells, your rates beside them. Connected cells set each monthly line's description and unit price, so the customer sees the basis of every charge.
Can the customer choose options such as returns processing?
Yes. Options go in the price table as optional lines, monthly or one-off, and the customer ticks the ones they want before signing. The totals and the deposit follow what they tick.
Can we collect onboarding details inside the proposal?
Yes. A Forms block, on Essentials and up, asks for onboarding answers inside the document, such as SKU count, carton sizes and order cut-offs. The answers come back with the signed proposal.
Can we show the onboarding plan?
Yes, on the Business plan, as a Gantt chart in the proposal with tasks and milestones such as first stock received and go-live. It's your plan in the document; QuoteCloud doesn't track the project.
What happens when the agreement ends?
Nothing renews by itself. Give the agreement an expiry date and it appears on the Expiring Soon filter when it's due, so your team can send a new proposal in good time.
