All values are sample data. Field names on the QuoteCloud side are described by meaning; your Zap's test data shows the exact labels.
The one column every update Zap needs
Find Row needs something to search for, so every register keeps the document's reference in a Ref column, written once by the Document Created Zap.
Every later Zap, for status, signing or a deposit, looks up Ref, gets the row ID and updates that row. Without it, a Zap can only add new rows.
- Format Ref as text, so CB-C-0431 is never read as a date or a sum.
- Don't edit references by hand in the table.

Column types to watch
Money as numbers
Format Total, Deposit and Rate columns as numbers or currency in Excel, and map plain numbers without $ signs, so SUMIFS and pivot tables add them up.
Dates as dates
Map dates into columns formatted as dates. Check one test row: a date that lands as text won't filter by month.
Cells in a Spreadsheet block
A Zap creating a document can also write values into its Spreadsheet block's cells, so the calculator, not the row, prices the lines.

Field map questions
Which QuoteCloud fields can go into Excel columns?
Whatever the trigger passes. For the register Zaps that's typically the document's reference, title, client, owner, status and total, plus the signed date on Document Signing Complete and the amount on Document Part Paid. Check the exact fields in your Zap's test data before you map them.
Which Excel columns can fill a QuoteCloud quote?
Any column in the row. Create Document can put them into the template's data items, the recipient's contact details through Find or Create Contact, and one price-table row's label, quantity and price. A Zap can also write values into Spreadsheet block cells. It never ticks options or chooses content blocks.
Why do my totals arrive as text in Excel?
Usually the column's format or a currency sign. Format the Total column as a number or currency in the table, and map the plain numeric value rather than a formatted one with a $ sign. Run a test and check that a SUM over the column works.
