Nothing renews by itself. When Tanbark wants to keep a distributor, Owen prepares a new agreement from the current template and both directors sign again.

Clauses nobody edits by accident

Questions about distributor agreements
Can two directors sign the same distributor agreement?
Yes. Add both as signers and each signs from their own email, on any device, without a QuoteCloud account. When everyone has signed, the agreement carries a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail. eSignatures are on every plan; QuoteCloud doesn't set a signing order.
Does a distributor agreement renew automatically?
No. QuoteCloud doesn't renew anything by itself. Each agreement has an expiry date, and the Expiring Soon filter (Essentials and up) lists documents running out in the next 30 days. To keep a distributor, prepare a new agreement from your current template and both sides sign it again.
How do we show the distributor's prices in the agreement?
Add your catalogue lines to a price table and put the agreed discount, for example 30%, in the Discount column on each line. The distributor sees list price, discount and net per carton; your costs and margins stay hidden. QuoteCloud shows the price basis you agreed; it doesn't calculate rebates or commission.
Can we stop staff editing the legal clauses?
On the Business plan, save the clauses to your content library as locked company blocks. Staff can add them to an agreement but can't change the wording. Version history, also on Business, keeps earlier versions of a document. QuoteCloud doesn't give legal advice, so have your own adviser approve the wording.
Can we send a new price list to every distributor at once?
Yes. Bulk send, on Essentials and up with volume-based costs, sends personalised copies of one document to a list of recipients and shows which have been sent, opened and accepted. A new agreement, rather than a price list, is still best sent and signed one distributor at a time.
