File the signed PDF in OneDrive and share it in Teams
The people who build and deliver the job need the signed copy, not a message saying it exists. One Zap files the PDF in OneDrive and posts a link to it in the channel.

- Building QuoteCloud since 2013
Build a Zap with QuoteCloud's Zapier app, on Essentials and up. Document Signing Complete starts it; Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link gets the signed PDF; Microsoft OneDrive's Upload File stores it and Create Sharing Link makes a link; Microsoft Teams' Send Channel Message posts that link. QuoteCloud's PDF link is short-lived, so it all runs in one Zap.

Two overlapping panels with sample data. Behind, Wexcombe Machine Works' equipment proposal WM-Q-0388 for Brindle Foods: a 9-metre case-packing conveyor with a stainless washdown frame, $125,235.00 including tax, signed by Hamish Doyle and Nadia Petrov, 30% paid. In front, an illustrative team channel, Operations › Line 3, Brindle Foods: a Zap's post that WM-Q-0388 is signed, with a link to WM-Q-0388 signed.pdf in OneDrive's Contracts folder, and the production planner's reply that he's ordering the long-lead parts.

Why share the signed copy, not just the news?
Wexcombe Machine Works builds conveyors to each customer's layout. Once Brindle Foods signs, production needs the agreed options, the stainless frame, the spares kit and the exclusions, and it needs them in the signed version.
So the Zap that hears the last signature fetches the signed PDF, files it in OneDrive under Contracts and posts a sharing link to the line's project channel. Production opens the document they'll build from, from the post that told them.
- QuoteCloud's PDF link is short-lived, so the upload happens in the same Zap; the channel gets OneDrive's link, never QuoteCloud's.
- Who can open the sharing link follows your OneDrive sharing settings: the IT admin side.
- OneDrive on its own: QuoteCloud with OneDrive.
How do I save the signed PDF to OneDrive and post it in Teams?
Five steps in one Zap. Every name is the exact event you pick in Zapier.

The same job can be built in Make, bring your own, with Make's own OneDrive and Microsoft Teams modules.
Nadia Petrov signs WM-Q-0388 at 10:05 on Friday, after Hamish. At 10:06 the signed PDF is in OneDrive under Contracts › Brindle Foods and the Line 3 channel has the link; by 10:31 production has ordered the long-lead parts.
Result
The signed copy is filed where your business keeps contracts, and the people who deliver the job open it from the post.

Variations on this recipe
A register in Excel
Add Microsoft Excel's Add Row to Table with the reference, client, total and signed date: QuoteCloud with Excel.
Update the opportunity
If your pipeline is in Dynamics 365, a step can update the opportunity in the same Zap: QuoteCloud with Microsoft Dynamics.
Book the kickoff too
Add Outlook's Create Event to the same Zap: kickoff meeting on signature.
Keep the link inside
Choose a Link Scope that keeps the link to your organisation, so the post's link works only for your own people.
Paid, not just signed
Start from Document Paid if the job shouldn't start until the deposit is in. QuoteCloud Payments is on Essentials and up.
Build it in Make instead
Bring your own: Make's built-in OAuth connection to QuoteCloud and QuoteCloud's API or Zapier endpoints, beside Make's own OneDrive and Microsoft Teams modules. There's no ready-made QuoteCloud app on Make, so you design each step.
Hand over the signed copy
QuoteCloud's Zapier app is on the Essentials plan and up. Start a free 14-day trial and sign a test quote to see the PDF land in OneDrive.
Build the filing Zap in five steps
- 1
Start with Document Signing Complete
In Zapier, choose QuoteCloud's Document Signing Complete and load a fully signed test document.
- 2
Fetch the PDF
Add QuoteCloud's Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link for that document.
- 3
Upload it to OneDrive
Add Microsoft OneDrive's Upload File with the PDF link as the File, your Contracts folder and a file name from the reference.
- 4
Make the link and post it
Add Create Sharing Link for the uploaded file, then Microsoft Teams' Send Channel Message with that link.
- 5
Test it end to end
Sign a test quote as every signer, open the link from the post as a colleague would, then switch the Zap on.
Questions about filing the signed PDF
Can QuoteCloud save signed PDFs to OneDrive and share them in Teams?
Yes, through Zapier. One Zap on Document Signing Complete fetches the PDF with Generate or Fetch Document PDF Link, uploads it with OneDrive's Upload File, makes a link with Create Sharing Link and posts it with Teams' Send Channel Message.
Why not post QuoteCloud's PDF link in the channel?
Because it's short-lived and would stop working. The Zap uses it once, straight away, to upload the file to OneDrive, and the channel gets OneDrive's sharing link, which follows your organisation's sharing settings.
Who can open the link in the post?
Whoever the sharing link allows. Choose a Link Scope that keeps it to your organisation, and only members of the channel see the post in the first place.
Does filing the PDF carry a QuoteCloud fee?
No. The Zap reads a signed document and stores its PDF; it doesn't create a QuoteCloud document. The per-document fee applies only to documents created through Zapier or the API.
