From recommended works to signed works, in one report
Price the recommendations as options in the report itself, so the client approves the works and your next commission in the same signature.

In QuoteCloud the recommended works in an audit or inspection report can be a live price table: priority 1 works included, later priorities as optional rows. The client ticks what they approve, the total updates, and accepting the report signs off the works and your fee for them, with no separate proposal to write or chase.
A sample building condition audit for a fictional practice, Fenwick Arden: The Pembroke, report FA-R-1187. On the left, five recommendations with their priority: the roof membrane and the north wall render (P1), corroded rooftop condensers and balustrade post fixings (P2) and a plan for years 3 to 10 (P3). On the right, each is linked to a line in the report's price table of the practice's services: roof replacement $14,800 and facade repairs $11,200 included, condenser replacement $6,400 ticked, balustrade testing $4,800 and a ten-year capital works plan $7,500 left optional. Ticking the condensers moves the approved fees from $32,890.00 to $39,930.00 including tax, and the report is accepted by Daniel Featherstone, chair of the owners' committee.

The asset manager ticks, the fees follow
The same works table works in an inspection report. In the Quayline plant inspection, the cooling tower refurbishment is included and three options sit underneath: a ten-year renewal plan, an air handling unit upgrade and a controls upgrade.
Tick an option below and the total, tax and the approved fees in the acceptance block update together. The asset manager accepts the report once, and you see the ticks in the activity.
- Optional rows and a note on every line
- The acceptance block shows the approved fees, not a compliance certificate
- Accepted reports can create a project in HubSpot (native integration, Business)

How to price recommended works in a report
Five steps, from the findings to signed works.
- 1
Write the findings
Rate each element and write the finding and recommendation, with marked-up photos.
- 2
Group the works
Add a price table at the end of the report, one section per priority.
- 3
Price your services
Add your fee for each work package; make later priorities optional rows.
- 4
Review and send
A director approves the report first if you use an approval workflow (Business), then send one link.
- 5
Accepted and approved
The client ticks the works they want and accepts the report with an eSignature; the fees for those works are approved with it.
Recommended works: questions answered
Can recommended works be priced inside an audit report?
Yes. Add a price table at the end of the report with a section per priority: Priority 1 works included, later priorities as optional rows. Each line can be your fee for designing, specifying and overseeing a work package, with a note. Price tables are on the Essentials plan and up.
What does the client sign when they accept the report?
One legally binding eSignature that accepts the report and approves the works they ticked, with your fees for them, recorded with a certificate of authenticity and audit trail. It is not a compliance certificate: QuoteCloud does not certify buildings or assets.
Are the works budgets quotes from contractors?
No. Budgets in a condition report are your opinions of probable cost for planning, written into the report. The price table holds your own services for the works; contractors' prices come later, through your tender.
Can we take a payment when the report is accepted?
Yes, if you want to. A deposit or full payment, as a percentage or a fixed amount, can be collected on signing through Stripe or PayPal from the Essentials plan, and the document is marked Paid. QuoteCloud does not bill later stages, instalments or monthly invoices.
What happens to works the client didn't approve?
They stay in the signed report as unticked options. When you inspect again, revise the report with Revise Last Version and price the remaining works. QuoteCloud does not send reminders about later priorities or follow up on them by itself.
Can a director check the fees before the report goes out?
Yes, on the Business plan. An approval workflow can trigger on total value or on the template used, so the report goes In Review and must be approved by the named approvers before it can be sent.
