Getting started with QuoteCloud

Change programs and workshops, priced per session

Impact assessments, leadership workshops, coaching and pulse surveys as one phased program, with the options the client ticks and two signers.

HR and change consultants use QuoteCloud to send program proposals: workshops and coaching as sessions in the price table, extras such as pulse surveys as optional rows the client ticks, the program on a Gantt chart (Business plan), the people sponsor and finance each signing online, and a first payment on signing through Stripe or PayPal.

A sample change program proposal from a fictional firm, Ashcombe Partners, for Fennimore Health Group: a change impact assessment ($18,000), six leadership workshops at $4,800 a session, a manager toolkit ($12,000) and three pulse surveys ticked as an option, $72,930.00 including tax. In front, the signature block: the Chief People Officer has signed, the head of finance has not yet, and the 25% first payment is due.

Priced the way people programs are sold

Assessments, sessions, seats and extras each have a natural shape in a QuoteCloud price table.

  • Assessments and HR reviews

A change impact assessment or an HR review as a fixed fee, with the weeks and what you deliver in the line note.

  • Workshops, coaching and training

A number of sessions at a session rate. Turn on quantity editing if the client may change how many they want.

  • Options that grow the program

Pulse surveys or one-to-one coaching as optional rows. The client ticks them and the total and first payment follow.

  • The program on a Gantt chart

Phases, optional work and the go-live milestone laid out in weeks inside the proposal. Gantt charts are on the Business plan.

  • A questionnaire inside the proposal

A Forms block asks for the number of leaders, sites and preferred dates, and the client answers in the document. Business plan.

  • Your program, ready to reuse

Save workshop outlines, the toolkit description and your terms in the content library so the next program starts from them.

What changes when people programs go out from QuoteCloud

The same programs your team sells today. The difference is in how they are priced, chosen and signed.

The jobTodayWith QuoteCloud
Pricing workshops A spreadsheet per program, and a session rate that depends on who wrote it. Session rates and fixed fees from your price book, the same in every proposal.
Adding coaching or surveys A second proposal, or an email thread about extras after the first one is signed. Optional rows the client ticks in the proposal, with the total updating as they do.
Getting HR and finance to sign A PDF passed from the CPO to finance, and a wet signature some weeks later. Each has their own signature block and signs online, in their own browser.
Showing the program A timeline pasted in as an image, out of date after the first change. A Gantt chart inside the proposal (Business), revised with the document.
The first payment An invoice raised after the kick-off workshop. A percentage or a fixed amount paid on signing, through Stripe or PayPal.
The next program Last year's Word file, and a search for the old client's name. Your HR program template and library blocks, with this client's details.

Let the client decide how much coaching to add

Tick or untick the options in the sample: the program total and the 25% first payment change with them, just as they do for Fennimore's CPO in the proposal.

Keep the core program fixed and put what is genuinely optional, such as pulse surveys or coaching for site managers, in an optional group. When the proposal is signed, the options chosen are part of what was signed.

  • Optional rows and single-choice groups
  • Sessions as quantities, editable by the client if you allow it
  • First payment as a percentage or fixed amount, through Stripe or PayPal

HR and change program questions

Can I price workshops per session in a proposal?

Yes. Add each workshop or coaching session as a price-table line with a quantity and a rate, such as six sessions at $4,800 each, beside fixed fees for an assessment or a toolkit. Turn on quantity editing if the client may change the number of sessions. Price tables are on the Essentials plan and above.

Can the client choose extras such as coaching or pulse surveys?

Yes. Put extras in an optional group in the price table. The client ticks the ones they want and the total and the first payment update before they sign. You can also use a single-choice group, for example to offer a smaller or larger workshop series.

Can both the CPO and the head of finance sign the program proposal?

Yes. A QuoteCloud document can have several signers, each with their own signature block, signing in their own browser without an account. You can add an optional one-time passcode by email. eSignatures are included on every plan, with an audit trail and a certificate of authenticity.

Can the proposal show the program as a timeline?

Yes, on the Business plan. A Gantt chart block shows the phases in weeks, marks optional work such as pulse surveys and shows milestones such as the go-live date. It sits inside the proposal the client reads and signs. If the plan changes before signing, revise the proposal and the chart changes with it.

Does QuoteCloud register participants or run the surveys?

No. QuoteCloud is for the proposal, the agreement and the signatures. It does not register participants, schedule workshops, run surveys or connect natively to an HR system or learning platform. Where those tools have a Zapier or Make connector, or through the QuoteCloud API, a signed proposal can start a step in them.
