- Building QuoteCloud since 2013
QuoteCloud's library has eight templates an agency can start from: two recruitment proposals, a human resources proposal, an HR services proposal, a consulting agreement, a corporate quote, a temporary employment contract and a job offer letter. There's no terms of business or rate card template, so agencies build their own, or send theirs to be converted during the trial.
A sample placement fee table from a fictional agency's own terms of business, Ashby Lane Recruitment for Harbourline Logistics: four salary bands from 15% under $100,000 to 22% from $200,000, with contingent, exclusive and retained options.

Terms of business: the agency builds its own
The library has no terms of business template, so each agency builds its own. The Consulting Agreement is a sound base: parties, scope, fees, term and signatures are already in it.
Swap its fee clause for your fee scale by salary band, add your guarantee and exclusivity options, set the term to the financial year and save it as your agency's terms template.
- Fee bands as a table block
- Guarantee and rebate scale as a locked company block (Business)
- An expiry date for the annual review
- Finance and procurement both sign

Rate cards: a corporate quote, turned into rates
There's no rate card template either. The Precision Corporate Sales Quote gives you a clean structure for services, pricing and terms: replace the services with roles and shifts, and the prices with hourly charge rates.
Keep the pay rate and on-costs in a Cost column so your margin stays with your team, add your rate card terms, and give it an expiry date.
- One row per role and shift
- Cost and margin hidden from the client
- Timesheet and temp-to-permanent terms
Charge rates Per hour, ex tax
| Role | Charge rate |
|---|---|
| Registered nurseDay shift, Mon–Fri | $78.83/hr |
| Registered nurseNight shift | $90.72/hr |
| Enrolled nurseDay shift, Mon–Fri | $64.58/hr |
| Assistant in nursingAny shift | $53.72/hr |
| Personal care workerCare homes | $51.32/hr |
Weekend and public holiday shifts are charged at the rates in Schedule 2. Timesheets are approved weekly and invoiced weekly by Ashby Lane.
Rate card terms
- BookingsShifts are booked through the Ashby Lane healthcare desk; confirmations are sent for each booking.

Template questions
Is there a recruitment terms of business template in QuoteCloud?
No. The template library has no terms of business or rate card template, so agencies build their own. Adapt the Consulting Agreement template with your fee bands and guarantee, or send us your current terms: one template conversion is free during the trial on Essentials, Business and Enterprise.
Which QuoteCloud templates suit a recruitment agency?
Recruitment Proposal and Recruitment Proposal #2 for client pitches, the Human Resources and HR Services proposals for HR services, the Consulting Agreement as a base for terms of business, the Precision Corporate Sales Quote as a base for rate cards, and the Temporary Employment Contract and Simple Job Offer Letter for labour hire paperwork.
Can I use the Temporary Employment Contract as client terms?
No. The Temporary Employment Contract and the Simple Job Offer Letter are written between an employer and a worker. They suit labour hire, where your agency employs the temp, but they aren't terms between your agency and a client. Use your own terms of business for that.
Can QuoteCloud convert our existing terms of business?
Yes. One existing template is converted free during the trial on Essentials, Business and Enterprise; more conversions are a paid add-on, per template. Send your current terms, retained proposal or rate card and it comes back as a QuoteCloud template you can edit.
Can each desk have its own version of a template?
Yes. Copy the agency template for each desk and change the units, rates and wording, while shared blocks such as your profile and guarantee come from the company content library. Custom roles and teams decide who uses and edits each template.
