Fixed-fee package questions, answered
How do clients choose between fixed-fee packages?
Packages appear in the document as a single choice, like radio buttons, and add-ons as optional lines with checkboxes. The price table's package line, the tax and the total follow what the client picks, and they sign once they're happy. Price tables need the Essentials plan or above.
Can the client pay the whole fixed fee when they sign?
Yes. Set the payment on signing to the full amount, a percentage or a fixed figure, and the client pays through Stripe or PayPal straight after signing. Payments go to the Stripe or PayPal account your firm connects. QuoteCloud does not operate a trust account; check your own trust-money rules before taking payments for future costs.
Can clients pay a fixed fee in instalments?
QuoteCloud takes one payment on signing: the full fee, a percentage or a fixed amount. It does not run instalment plans, payment reminders or recurring billing, so any later payment is invoiced from your own accounts.
How do we keep package prices the same across the firm?
Save each package and add-on in the product catalogue with its fee, and build them into the package template. Everyone then sends the same fees, and a price change is made once in the catalogue.
Can we show government fees in a visa or property package?
Yes, as wording in the document. In our visa sample the government's application charge is listed under Not in this fee, because the clients pay it directly. If your firm pays a cost on the client's behalf, show it as its own line, kept apart from your fixed fee.
Can we send a package offer to a list of past clients?
Yes. Bulk send creates a personalised copy of one template for each recipient and shows who has opened and accepted it. Bulk send is on the Essentials plan and above, with volume-based costs.
