Law firm integrations, without the re-keying
Signed agreements out to your practice system through Zapier, Make or the API, and fees to Xero or QuickBooks, without anyone typing them in twice.

- Building QuoteCloud since 2013
QuoteCloud has no native legal practice-management integration. It connects through Zapier or Make where your system has a connector, or through the QuoteCloud API, from the Essentials plan. A signed or paid agreement can open a matter or file the PDF. Xero and QuickBooks are native on Business, otherwise via Zapier. HubSpot and Zoho connect via Zapier.
A sample costs agreement from a fictional firm, signed by both buyers after a one-time passcode, with the payment on signing paid through Stripe. In front, the agreement's activity: opened, a comment, both signed, the payment received, then a matter opened in the firm's practice system through a Zapier step.

Four hand-offs most firms set up first
Each one is a QuoteCloud trigger and an action in another system, built in Zapier or Make, or with the API. They work where your practice system has a connector.
Signed → open the matter
Trigger: Recipient Signed Document. Action: create the matter and client in your practice-management system, with the details from the agreement.
Paid → record the payment
Trigger: Document Payment Event. Action: a note on the matter, or a record in your accounts. Payments go to the Stripe or PayPal account your firm connects. QuoteCloud does not operate a trust account; check your own trust-money rules.
Intake answered → new contact
Trigger: Form Submitted on Document. Action: a contact for your conflict check, which runs in your own system. See matter intake.
Signed → file the PDF
Action: Generate PDF Link, then save the signed agreement to the matter folder in Microsoft OneDrive, or add a row to an engagement register in Google Sheets.
Create the costs agreement from your own system
When the matter starts in your practice system, the QuoteCloud API or a Zapier step can create the costs agreement from your commercial template, fill its data items (client, director, guarantor, matter) and add the price-table rows: label, note, price, quantity, tax and discount.
The template supplies the scope wording, the standard terms and which blocks appear. The automation doesn't choose blocks or tick optional lines; the client ticks those.
- Create from a template
- Fill data items
- Add price-table rows at creation
- Then send, or let the fee earner check it first

Fees to Xero or QuickBooks
Graham and Ruth Pender chose their package, signed and paid the fixed fee in full through PayPal. On the Business plan, the native Xero or QuickBooks integration can create the contact and an invoice for it; on Essentials, a Zapier step can do the same job.
Payments go to the Stripe or PayPal account your firm connects. QuoteCloud does not operate a trust account; check your own trust-money rules.

Integration questions from law firms
Does QuoteCloud integrate with legal practice-management software?
There is no native integration with legal practice-management systems. QuoteCloud connects through Zapier or Make where your system has a connector, or through the QuoteCloud API, from the Essentials plan. A signed or paid agreement can then open a matter, create a contact or file the PDF in your system.
What can Zapier do with a QuoteCloud costs agreement?
Zapier triggers include a recipient first viewing or signing a document, a payment event, a status change, a comment and a form submitted on a document. Actions include creating a document from a template with data items and price-table rows, sending it and generating a PDF link. Documents created through Zapier or the API cost US$2.00 each, less at volume.
Does QuoteCloud connect to Xero and QuickBooks?
Yes. Xero and QuickBooks Online are native integrations on the Business plan, and on other paid plans they connect via Zapier. QuoteCloud does not keep your accounts or trust records in two-way sync: it passes on what happened in the document, and your accounting system remains the record.
Can the API choose which clauses go into an agreement?
No. The API and Zapier create a document from a template, fill its data items and add price-table rows. The scope wording, standard terms and which blocks appear come from the template you choose, so keep one template per matter type. Optional lines are ticked by the client, not by the automation.
Do HubSpot and Zoho CRM work with QuoteCloud?
Yes, via Zapier. A new enquiry or deal in HubSpot or Zoho CRM can create a QuoteCloud document, and a signed agreement can update the record. Pipedrive connects directly. Zapier, Make and the API need the Essentials plan or above.
