Getting started with QuoteCloud

Implant and oral surgery plans with every alternative priced

Implant, bridge or denture side by side, the surgical and restorative stages over months, and a deposit to book the surgery.

Implant and oral surgery practices use QuoteCloud to send plans that set out the alternatives (an implant and crown, a bridge or a partial denture; local anaesthetic, sedation or a day hospital) as a single choice, the stages and healing time as planned visits, what isn't included, consent and a deposit on signing.

Stage 4 of Helen Gordon's plan from a fictional practice, replacing tooth 36, as three cards that take turns at the front: implant and crown $5,450 over 4 visits and about 15 weeks (discussed at her consultation), a three-unit bridge $4,350 over 2 visits and about 3 weeks, or a partial denture $1,480 over 3 visits and about 5 weeks. Under them the stage's timeline and the plan's estimated total follow the card in front: $11,235.00, $10,135.00 or $7,265.00.

Implant, bridge or denture: the same plan, each choice priced

Replacing 36 is one stage of Helen's plan with three alternatives in a single-choice group. Here is what the stage, the visits and the total look like with each one.

Four visits over about four months

Placement, a review, a scan and the implant crown, laid out by week so Helen can see the whole stage before she agrees to it. It was the option Dr Qureshi discussed with her, so it is pre-selected with a plain note.

Priced per arch, not per tooth

A partial denture can replace more than one tooth in the same arch, so its quantity is the number of arches. Impressions, a try-in and the fit, over about five weeks.

  • Quantity per arch or per tooth, as your fee list says
  • Visits for the option, not the whole menu
  • An honest comparison on one page

Oral surgery, with the setting as the choice

Ethan's four wisdom teeth are marked on the chart. The removal is one stage with three settings to choose from: in the chair with local anaesthetic, with IV sedation from the practice's team, or at a day hospital.

Day hospital and anaesthetist fees are billed by them, so the estimate lists them under "Not included" in the practice's own words. Choose a setting in the plan and the total and the 25% deposit to book the surgery follow.

  • Teeth to remove marked on the chart
  • Settings as a single choice with their visits
  • Outside fees listed as not included
  • A deposit that books the surgery

What an implant or surgical plan needs to say

Long cases and outside fees are where patients get surprised. Put each of these in the plan they sign.

  • Every alternative

Implant, bridge and denture side by side in one single-choice group, not three separate quotes.

  • The whole timeline

Each visit of the chosen option by week, as your practice plans it. Reception confirms the dates.

  • What isn't included

Hospital and anaesthetist fees, prescriptions or referrals, in your own wording.

  • What each option looks like

Photos of models in an image gallery, and the X-ray marked up in the image editor.

  • A deposit to book

A percentage or fixed amount paid when the plan is signed. Later stages are billed by your practice.

  • Pre-surgery acknowledgements

Statements the patient ticks in a Forms block, in locked wording your team can't change (Business).

Implant and oral surgery questions

How do we show implant, bridge and denture as options?

Put them in the plan's price table as a single-choice group in one stage. Each option has its own code, fee, quantity and note, and can carry its own visits in the plan. Pre-select the option discussed at the consultation with a neutral note; the patient can choose another and the estimated total and deposit update.

Can we take a deposit to book the surgery?

Yes, from the Essentials plan. Set the deposit as a percentage of the estimated total or a fixed amount, and the patient pays it through Stripe or PayPal straight after signing. QuoteCloud doesn't run instalments or payment reminders; later stages are billed by your practice.

How do we handle hospital or anaesthetist fees?

List them under what the estimate doesn't include, in your own wording, so the patient knows they are billed separately. QuoteCloud doesn't bill or collect fees for a hospital or anaesthetist, and it doesn't calculate what an insurer pays back for any part of the treatment.

Can the plan show how long implant treatment takes?

Yes, as your planning. Set out each visit of the option by week in the plan, and only the chosen option's visits show. On the Business plan you can also add a Gantt chart. The weeks are a plan, not a promise of healing time, and QuoteCloud doesn't book the appointments.

Can the patient sign before surgery on the day?

Yes. Patients usually sign online from the email link, but QuoteCloud also lets a patient sign in person on the practice's own device. Each signed plan comes with a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail, and you can ask signers for a one-time passcode before they sign.
