QuoteCloud shows the moment a customer opens your quote and how long they spend reading it, as it happens. Customers can ask questions as comments on the quote. Every quote has an expiry date, and the Expiring Soon filter lists the ones running out, so you know who to call. Tracking is on Essentials and above.
A sample week of quotes for a fictional business, Ridgeline Trade Services, grouped by status: two sent (a leak repair not opened yet, and an apartment-block lighting quote that expires in 3 days), two opened (a split-system install read for 6 minutes today, and ceiling fans opened yesterday), one accepted (a switchboard upgrade signed by both owners) and one paid (a hot water replacement with a $1,523.94 deposit through Stripe).

Chasing quotes, before and after
Follow-up is still your phone call. QuoteCloud tells you who to call and what to say.
Questions answered in the quote
Tom read the split-system quote for six minutes, then asked whether the 3.5 kW is enough for an open kitchen. The question sits on the quote; Josh replies there, and suggests the bigger size.
The next call isn't a cold one. You know it was read, what the customer asked and what you told them.

Quote tracking: questions
Can I see when a customer opens my quote?
Yes. QuoteCloud shows the moment a customer opens your quote and how long they spend reading it, and the quote's history records each view, with real-time notifications in QuoteCloud. Document tracking is on the Essentials plan and above.
Does QuoteCloud do the follow-up for me?
No, the follow-up stays personal. QuoteCloud gives you the signals for follow-up: when a quote was opened and read, comments from the customer, and expiry dates with an Expiring Soon filter. You make the call or send the email when those signals say it's worth it.
Can customers ask questions about a quote?
Yes. Customers can leave comments on the quote itself, and you reply in the document, so the question and the answer stay with the quote instead of in a text thread. You can be notified of new comments in QuoteCloud, Slack or Microsoft Teams.
How do I find quotes that are about to expire?
Give each quote a validity or expiry date, then use the Expiring Soon smart filter on the documents list to see the quotes that run out next. Expired quotes can be marked lost, or revised with current prices and sent again.
Can I change a quote after I've sent it?
Yes. Revise the sent quote, for example with new prices or a different option, and resend it; the customer opens the new version. On the Business plan, revisions and version history keep earlier versions for your records, so you can see what changed and when.
