From signed quote to booked job
When a customer signs, a Zap can create the job in ServiceM8 or simPRO, and on Business the invoice can go to Xero or QuickBooks without retyping a line.

QuoteCloud connects to job management apps such as ServiceM8 and simPRO through Zapier, and to others through Make or the QuoteCloud API, from the Essentials plan; a signed quote can create a job with the customer, address and line items. Xero and QuickBooks Online connect natively on the Business plan. API and Zapier document creation has per-document fees.
A sample automation for a fictional business, Ridgeline Trade Services: when the hot water quote RT-4127 is signed in QuoteCloud, a Zap in Zapier runs the ServiceM8 action Create Job, matching the client name to the job contact, the client address to the job address, the document title to the job description and the total of $5,079.80 to the quoted amount; below it, the invoice in Xero through the native integration on the Business plan.
Set up a ServiceM8 job from a signed quote
Four steps in Zapier, done once. simPRO and other job apps on Zapier follow the same pattern.
Pick the QuoteCloud trigger
Choose the event that starts it, such as a client signing the quote.
Choose the job app action
In ServiceM8, choose Create Job; in another app, its equivalent.
Match the fields
Client name, address, job description and line items from the quote to the job.
Test it and turn it on
Run a test with a sample quote, then switch the Zap on. Nothing moves until a quote is signed.
What you see after the signature
The quote's activity shows the whole job's start: opened, the option chosen, the add-on ticked, signed on site, the deposit paid, then the job created in ServiceM8 by the Zap.
The office opens ServiceM8 and the job is there to schedule. No retyping the customer, the address or the scope.

Integrations: questions
Does QuoteCloud integrate with ServiceM8?
Yes, through Zapier. Choose a QuoteCloud trigger, such as a client signing the quote, then the ServiceM8 action Create Job, match the fields such as client, address, description and line items, test it and turn it on. Zapier is on the Essentials plan and above, with per-document fees for document creation.
Does QuoteCloud work with simPRO?
Yes. simPRO connects through Zapier in the same way as ServiceM8, from the Essentials plan: choose the QuoteCloud trigger, such as a signed quote, and the simPRO action, then match the fields. The customer and quote details reach simPRO without being typed twice. Zapier document creation has per-document fees.
What about Tradify, Fergus or other job apps?
QuoteCloud doesn't list a dedicated integration for them. If your job management app has a Zapier or Make connection, you can link it the same way as ServiceM8; otherwise the QuoteCloud API, from Essentials, can connect your own systems. Check your app's Zapier or Make listing first.
Do signed quotes go to Xero or QuickBooks?
On the Business plan, Xero and QuickBooks Online connect natively, so a signed quote can become an invoice there. On Essentials you can do the same through Zapier. QuoteCloud doesn't keep the two in sync both ways; your accounting software handles the invoices and the balance.
Do I need a developer?
Not for Zapier or Make: you choose the trigger and action and match the fields yourself, with no code. For the QuoteCloud API, or for help setting up any integration, QuoteCloud's professional services team offers consultancy and integration set-up; contact sales to talk it through.
