Getting started with QuoteCloud

Manufacturing templates to quote from today

Real QuoteCloud templates for proposals, agreements, work orders, QA plans, price quotes and distributor agreements.

QuoteCloud has ready-made templates for manufacturers: the Manufacturing Services Proposal, Manufacturing Services Agreement, Production Work Order, Manufacturing Quality Assurance Plan, Price Quote, Product Sales, Equipment Purchase Proposal and Distributor Agreement. Open one, add your price book, terms and logo, and send.

Three document covers from fictional manufacturers, fanned out and taking turns at the front: Tessmore Engineering's RFQ response for the QR-220 sensor housing, its 2027 annual supply agreement for Quenda Robotics, and Wexcombe Machine Works' proposal for a case-packing conveyor module for Brindle Foods.

From the proposal template to your RFQ response

The Manufacturing Services Proposal already has the parts a buyer looks for: scope, how you'll make it, quality, lead times, pricing and terms. Make it your RFQ response by swapping in your own blocks.

Tessmore's version opens on the part with the RFQ reference and the expiry date, carries its lead time, Incoterms and payment terms as one block, and keeps a running list of assumptions and exceptions the buyer can comment on.

Save it as your template and every estimator starts from the same structure, with the same wording.

  • A cover with the part, RFQ reference and expiry date
  • Commercial terms as one block, locked on Business
  • Assumptions and exceptions, with comments
  • Price tables, signatures and payment on signing added in the editor

Template questions

Does QuoteCloud have templates for manufacturers?

Yes. The template library includes the Manufacturing Services Proposal, Manufacturing Services Agreement, Production Work Order, Manufacturing Quality Assurance Plan, Price Quote, Product Sales, Equipment Purchase Proposal and Distributor Agreement. Open one in your account, add your branding, price book and terms, and send it.

Is there an RFQ response template?

Not under that name. Most job shops start from the Manufacturing Services Proposal or the Price Quote and turn it into their RFQ response: a cover with the part and RFQ reference, the customer's drawing, a price table with breaks and tooling, commercial terms and an acceptance section.

Can QuoteCloud convert our existing quote into a template?

Yes. During the free trial, QuoteCloud converts one of your existing document templates for free on the Essentials, Business and Enterprise plans, so your first RFQ response looks like the quotes you send today. More conversions are available as a paid add-on, billed per template.

Can we stop estimators changing our terms?

Yes, on the Business plan. Content locking keeps chosen blocks, such as your commercial terms or tooling ownership clause, from being edited in a document. On Essentials, the content library still gives every estimator the same saved wording to start from.

Which plan do we need for manufacturing templates?

Templates, price tables, the product catalogue and payments on signing are on Essentials and above. Business adds content locking, approvals, Gantt charts and the Forms block for a PO number field. Both Essentials and Business start with a 14-day free trial, with no credit card required.
