Getting started with QuoteCloud

Cruise and touring proposals with every choice in one place

Cabin categories as a single choice, stays before and after, excursions to tick and a deposit to secure the cabin.

Cruise specialists, tour operators and wholesalers use QuoteCloud to send proposals where the cabin category or tour grade is a single choice that sets the price, pre- and post-stays and shore excursions are optional, the price is per person, and the travellers sign and pay the deposit to secure the cabin.

A ship drawn in cross-section with four decks, one for each cabin category in a fictional cruise proposal for Patricia & Graham Holt: inside, ocean-view, balcony and suite. Each deck lights in turn and the price card beside it follows: inside $2,890 per person ($5,745 per person with flights and extras, $11,490.00 for two), ocean-view $3,460 ($12,630.00), balcony $4,380 ($14,470.00) and suite $7,950 ($21,610.00). It stops on the balcony cabin they chose. The deposit stays $600 per traveller, $1,200.00, paid on signing.

Four cabins, one proposal, their choice

Patricia and Graham see every cabin category with its price per person, choose one, and the total follows. The two nights in Venice before they sail and the shore excursions are optional lines they tick.

The deposit is a fixed $600 per traveller, whichever cabin they choose, paid when they sign. The balance is due 90 days before sailing, on Saltpine's own invoice.

Port by port, with the days ashore

The sailing is one segment, with the flights, the Venice hotel, the transfer and each port day around it. Shore excursions sit on the day they happen, so the price and the itinerary tell the same story.

Ship descriptions, cabin notes and your cruise booking conditions live in the content library: written once in your own words, added to every proposal.

Cruise & touring

Sold on the deck they chose, not in an email thread

Four cabin prices in one email are hard to compare. In a proposal, the cabin is a choice they make themselves, and the deposit that secures it is paid on the same page.

Send a cruise proposal in five steps

From the cabin you're holding to the deposit that secures it.

  1. Start from your cruise template

Cover, itinerary and a price table with a cabin category choice and optional extras.

  2. Add the sailing

The cruise segment, the flights, any pre- or post-stay, and the port days with their excursions.

  3. Price each category

Inside, ocean-view, balcony and suite per person, excursions as optional lines, a fixed deposit per traveller.

  4. Set the hold date

Give the proposal the date your cabin is held until; Expiring Soon lists the ones about to lapse.

  5. Send for every traveller

They choose, tick, sign and pay the deposit; you confirm the cabin with the cruise line as usual.

Cruise & touring questions

Can travellers choose their own cabin category?

Yes. The cabin categories are a single choice in the price table, each with its price per person, so travellers pick inside, ocean-view, balcony or suite and the total updates. Optional lines such as a pre-cruise stay or shore excursions are ticked the same way.

Does QuoteCloud show live cabin availability?

No. QuoteCloud doesn't connect to cruise lines for availability, deck plans or bookings. You hold the cabin with the cruise line as usual and put the hold date on the proposal; the travellers choose from the categories you've priced.

How is the cruise deposit handled?

Set a fixed amount per traveller or a percentage, and it's paid by card through Stripe or PayPal when they sign (Essentials and up). The balance and its due date, such as 90 days before sailing, are written into the proposal and invoiced by you.

Can tour operators send departures to their agents?

Yes. Build the departure sheet once as a template, then bulk-send personalised copies to your agent partners (Essentials and up, volume-based costs). Each agency can open, comment on and sign its own copy, and you see the status of each one.

Can I reuse ship and tour descriptions?

Yes. Save them in the content library and add them to any proposal, so each cruise or tour is described the same way every time. Content locking on the Business plan stops anyone editing the parts that must stay as written.
