Getting started with QuoteCloud

Print, digital, radio and podcast ad sales in one proposal

Sell across your mastheads, website, stations and podcasts in one document, priced the way each one is sold.

Publishers and broadcasters use QuoteCloud to sell across platforms in one proposal: radio spots per week, print insertions, display per thousand impressions and podcast host-reads as price-table lines grouped by platform, a media kit as PDF pages, audience figures as their own labelled estimates, and the booking signed online with a deposit for new advertisers.

Four platform tiles from a fictional media owner, Marrick Media Group, light in turn: The Courier's weekend print, Marrick 96.3 FM, The Coastline Weekly podcast and The Courier's news site. Each feeds one line into a single proposal for Saltwind Homewares, priced in its own unit: two Saturday half pages at $2,600, four weeks of breakfast and drive radio at $2,150, four podcast host-reads at $650 and 150 thousand display impressions at $22 per thousand. The total is $21,670.00 including tax with a 20% deposit of $4,334.00: one document and one signature.

A cross-platform bundle, chosen in one click

Sell the network as bundles: Local, Regional and Full network, each with what's in it. The advertiser picks one and the bundle line in the price table follows, then adds a platform the bundle leaves out.

One proposal instead of four quotes from four teams, so the advertiser sees the whole buy and pays one deposit for it.

  • Bundles as a single-choice group
  • Extra platforms as optional lines
  • One deposit for the whole buy

Selling across mastheads, stations and shows

What a multi-platform media owner sets up once, so every team's proposals look like one business.

  • A template per platform

Radio, print, digital and podcast templates with their own specs, deadlines and terms, under one brand.

  • The media kit inside

Add your media kit or specs sheet as PDF pages in the proposal, rather than a separate attachment.

  • Estimates, labelled

Listeners, readers, downloads and subscribers as your own figures, tagged as estimates. QuoteCloud measures none of them.

  • One rate card

Every platform's placements in the product catalogue, with categories assigned to each team.

  • Questions in the document

The advertiser comments on a line and the right rep replies there, instead of in four email threads.

  • One deposit for the buy

A deposit on signing for new advertisers, by card or PayPal. Account customers sign with no payment.

Put every platform in one proposal

Free for 14 days, no credit card required. Send us a radio or print proposal you use today and we'll convert one template for you during the trial.

A team per platform, each with its own Stripe account

Set up a team for radio, the paper, podcasts and network sales. Each team has its own members and templates, and can connect its own Stripe account, so a deposit lands with the company that sells that space.

Custom roles decide who can edit templates and prices, and catalogue categories go to the teams that sell them.

  • Teams with their own templates
  • A Stripe account per team
  • Custom roles and permissions

Sell the network in one proposal

How a media owner with several platforms moves its sales teams onto one way of quoting.

  1. Load every rate card

Import each platform's placements into the product catalogue, with a category per platform.

  2. Set up the teams

Create a team per platform with its own templates, and connect each team's Stripe account.

  3. Build the bundles

Make a bundle template with Local, Regional and Full network as one choice.

  4. Add the media kit

Put specs, deadlines and audience estimates in each template, labelled as your own.

  5. Send and sign

Reps send one proposal per advertiser; the advertiser picks, signs and pays one deposit.

Publisher and broadcaster questions, answered

Can one proposal include print, radio, digital and podcasts?

Yes. Group the placements by platform in one price table, each priced in its own unit: weeks of spots, insertions, thousands of impressions or episodes. Each group has its own subtotal, and the advertiser signs one document and pays one deposit for the whole buy.

Can I price display advertising per thousand impressions?

Yes. Use thousands of impressions as the quantity and the CPM as the rate, for example 150 at $22. QuoteCloud prices the line; your own ad system serves and reports the impressions. QuoteCloud doesn't connect to an ad server or track delivery.

Do audience figures come from QuoteCloud?

No. Listeners, readers, downloads and subscribers are your own figures, written into the proposal and labelled as your estimates. QuoteCloud doesn't measure audiences or connect to audience surveys, and nothing in the document should read as a guaranteed audience.

Can each platform's team take its own payments?

Yes. Set up a team for each platform and each team can connect its own Stripe account, so a deposit goes to the company that sells that space. Teams, templates and payments are on the Essentials plan and up.

Can advertisers choose between bundles?

Yes. Put the bundles in a packages block as a single choice. Choosing one changes the bundle line in the price table, and the advertiser can tick extra platforms as optional lines. The total and deposit follow each choice.

Can I add our media kit to the proposal?

Yes. Add your media kit or specs sheet as PDF pages inside the proposal, with photos in a gallery block. Keep audience figures in the kit labelled as your own estimates. Image and gallery blocks are on the Starter plan and up.
