QuoteCloud lets installers send EV charger quotes from a template: the charger and its circuit as price lines with drawn product images, the circuit priced from the measured cable run in a Spreadsheet block, options such as load management the household ticks, and full payment or a deposit through Stripe or PayPal when they sign.

A garage drawn from the front for a fictional business, Tallowwood Solar & Storage: the switchboard on one wall, a 7 kW charger on the other and an 8 m cable run measured between them. The quote card for Kofi and Dana Mensah shows the Pellam EVC-7 charger at $1,690.00 and the dedicated circuit and RCBO for the 8 m run at $290.00, its description and price taken from the quote's Run tab. Kofi ticks load management for $240.00, the total becomes $2,442.00 inc tax, and the quote is signed and paid in full through Stripe.

The cable run prices the circuit

Most of a charger quote is fixed; the circuit isn't. Kofi's charger is 8 m from the board, so Callum types 8 into the Run tab. Your price includes 10 m, so there are no extra metres, and the circuit line reads 'Dedicated circuit & RCBO, 8 m cable run' at your base price.

A 14 m run to the carport would add four metres at your rate, and the line's description and unit price would follow. The household ticks the options, signs, and pays in full.

EV charger quote questions

Can customers pay in full when they sign an EV charger quote?

Yes, from the Essentials plan. Set the payment on signing to the full amount, or to a deposit, and the customer pays through Stripe or PayPal as they sign. You need a connected payment gateway. QuoteCloud doesn't offer instalments or payment reminders.

Can the cable run change the price?

Yes, if you build it into your quote's Spreadsheet block. Type the measured run into a cell; your formula adds extra metres beyond what your price includes, and that cell sets the circuit line's description and unit price. The quantity stays at one on the line.

Can I add an EV charger to a solar proposal?

Yes. Add the charger as an optional line in the solar proposal's price table. If the household ticks it, the total and deposit follow, and if your sheet brings the total back for a payback estimate, the estimate includes the charger.

Can I use product images of my chargers?

Yes. Price lines can carry thumbnail images, from your product catalogue or uploaded, and you can attach datasheets as PDF blocks. Use your own models and wording; on this page the products and drawings are fictional.

Which templates suit EV charger quotes?
