Paraplanning and outsourced support businesses use QuoteCloud to quote advice firms: a price per piece of work in a price table (single or multi-strategy advice documents, advice updates, research), optional items the firm ticks, turnaround times as line notes and your terms, signed online by the firm's principal.
A sample quote from a fictional paraplanning business, Clearline Paraplanning, to a fictional advice firm, Ferrowby Advice & Lending. The price table prices a typical month piece by piece: four single-strategy advice documents at $950 each with a 5-working-day turnaround, two multi-strategy advice documents at $1,800 with 8 working days, six advice updates at $260 with 2 working days, and two optional product research reports at $180, ticked, then tax and the total. In front, the signature card: signed by Andrew Moffat, director of Ferrowby, with what was agreed: pricing per piece of work, invoiced monthly by Clearline, and the adviser reviews and signs off every document.

Sent from your paraplanning business, under your name
The quote carries Clearline's letterhead, not the advice firm's. Grace's team sends it from their own QuoteCloud account, and Ferrowby's director opens it in a browser, reads it and signs. The advice firm doesn't need an account or a subscription.
It sets the ground rules before the first file arrives: what each piece of work costs, how long it takes and what the adviser still does. The quote says in plain words that the adviser reviews and signs off every advice document.
- Your branding and your wording
- No account needed for the advice firm to sign
- An expiry date on every quote

Paraplanning for Ferrowby Advice & Lending
Prepared for Andrew Moffat, Ferrowby Advice & Lending · Prepared Mon 19 Oct 2026 · Valid until Wed 18 Nov 2026
Our prices for each piece of work, based on a typical month for your two advisers. Tick the research reports if you'd like them.
Price paraplanning the way your clients buy it
The same price table handles every common way outsourced paraplanning is priced. Mix them in one quote.
Per piece of work
A line for each document type, with a quantity for a typical month. The firm sees exactly what four single-strategy documents cost.
Monthly capacity
Reserved hours or files each month as a repeating price item with a period label. It's shown in the agreement; you invoice it, QuoteCloud doesn't bill it.
Hourly, for ad hoc work
An hourly line for file reviews, data entry or meeting notes, with the expected hours as the quantity.
Optional extras
Research reports, rush turnaround or file-note write-ups in an optional group the principal ticks.
One price list
Each kind of work saved as a product in the product catalogue, so every quote uses the same prices and descriptions.
Volume pricing, your way
A lower price per piece for a larger firm is a different line rate in that firm's quote. QuoteCloud doesn't apply volume rules by itself.

Agreed once, before the first file arrives
Andrew signs once for the firm. The summary beside his signature records what was agreed: pricing per piece of work, invoicing monthly by Clearline, and Ferrowby's adviser reviewing and signing off every document.
Once QuoteCloud is in place, every advice firm you work with gets the same clear menu and signs the same terms, and you have a signed record with a certificate of authenticity for each one. Monthly invoices stay in your own accounting system.

Questions paraplanners ask
Can a paraplanning business use QuoteCloud to quote advice firms?
Yes. A paraplanning or outsourced support business sends its own quotes from QuoteCloud: a price for each kind of work in a price table, turnaround times as line notes, optional research the advice firm ticks and your terms, signed online by the firm's principal. The advice firm needs no QuoteCloud account to read, choose and sign.
Does QuoteCloud prepare or check advice documents?
No. QuoteCloud only sends your quote and service terms. The advice documents themselves are prepared by your paraplanners in the advice firm's planning software or your own, and reviewed and signed off by the firm's adviser. QuoteCloud doesn't write, check or approve advice, and makes no claim about the quality or compliance of any document.
Can we price per piece of work, per month or by the hour?
Yes. A price-table line can be a piece of work with a quantity, such as four single-strategy documents, an hourly line for ad hoc tasks, or a repeating price item with a monthly period label for reserved capacity. The monthly fee is shown in the agreement: you invoice it each month, QuoteCloud doesn't bill it.
Can the advice firm choose extras such as research reports?
Yes. Put research reports, file-note write-ups or rush turnaround in an optional group. The principal ticks what they want and the subtotal, tax and total update in the quote before they sign. Optional rows and single-choice groups are part of price tables, on the Essentials plan and above.
Who signs the paraplanning quote?
Whoever you add as a signer, usually the advice firm's principal or director. Each signer signs in their own browser with no account, optionally after a one-time passcode sent by email. The signed quote carries a certificate of authenticity and an audit trail. Add a second director as another signer if the firm needs two.
How do we keep our prices the same in every quote?
Save each kind of work as a product in the product catalogue, with its price and description, and build quotes from a template that already holds your terms. Every paraplanner or manager who quotes picks from the same list. The product catalogue and templates are on the Essentials plan and above.
