Built for a phone, read between jobs
On a narrow screen the comparison shows the chosen insurer's column only, with the cover, limit and premium for each row. Wiremu can switch insurer, keep personal accident, pick the higher tools excess and sign, all with one thumb.
Your fee can be paid on signing by card or PayPal into your brokerage's own account, so the quote doesn't sit waiting for an invoice. Try it in the phone-width document beside this.

For specialist trades brokers
Signed before the next job starts
A tradesperson decides on site, in a few minutes, on the phone in their pocket. When the quote opens there, reads clearly and takes the fee in the same step, it gets signed while the decision is fresh.

Trade insurance quote questions, answered
Can a tradesperson sign an insurance quote on their phone?
Yes. The quote opens from an email link on any phone, with no app or account. On a narrow screen the comparison shows the chosen insurer's column, and the tradesperson ticks options and signs with a finger. eSignatures are on every QuoteCloud plan.
Can the broker fee be paid by PayPal when they sign?
Yes, from the Essentials plan. Connect your brokerage's PayPal or Stripe account and set a payment on signing for the fee, or the fee and premium. The money goes to your own account. QuoteCloud doesn't hold client money or offer instalments, so check your own rules before taking premiums.
Can I keep a template per trade?
Yes. Save a trade template per licence class with the covers that trade usually asks about, then create each quote from the right one and type the premiums. Templates are on Essentials and up. For builders, add contract works as its own row only when a job needs it.
Does QuoteCloud check a tradesperson's licence or contract requirements?
No. QuoteCloud doesn't check licences, contract insurance requirements or whether cover suits a job. What goes into the quote, and any advice about it, is your brokerage's own. Your templates can carry your own notes on what each cover is for, written in your words.
Will QuoteCloud remind the tradesperson to renew?
No. QuoteCloud shows each quote's expiry date and the Expiring Soon filter so your team sees what's falling due, and you send the renewal when you're ready. It sends no reminders and renews nothing by itself. Give each quote an expiry date when you send it, and filter the documents list by Expiring Soon each week.
Can a tradesperson lodge a claim through QuoteCloud?
No. QuoteCloud does no claims handling. It's for the quote, the choice, the signature and payment on signing. It's for the quote, the choice, the signature and payment on signing. Claims stay with the insurer and your own claims process, and nothing in a QuoteCloud quote should be presented as a claim form.
