Getting started with QuoteCloud

Project marketing proposals developers approve and sign

Pitch an off-the-plan or land release campaign by stage, with the marketing budget, display suite options, a release timeline and your fee structure.

QuoteCloud lets project marketing agencies pitch developers with one branded proposal: the project, the campaign by release stage, a marketing budget as a price table with optional items such as a display suite or CGI renders, a Gantt timeline (Business), the fee structure as content, and signatures from the developer's directors. Approval workflows can check large budgets before sending.

A sample project marketing proposal from a fictional agency to Ironwood Developments for The Linden, 24 apartments. Behind, a 12-month Gantt chart of the campaign by release: brand, naming and website, CGI renders, an optional display suite fit-out, then release 1 of 10 apartments with a launch event, release 2 of 10 and release 3 of 4 penthouses. In front, the marketing budget: brand and launch, the campaign by release and a display suite option, $173,690.00 inc tax.

A developer pitch, page by page

The proposal Nina's team sent Ironwood Developments for The Linden: the project, the look of the campaign, the budget, how the agency is paid, and the directors' signatures.

The campaign by release, on one chart

A Gantt chart block sets out the agency's plan: brand and naming, CGI renders, the display suite, then each release with its launch. The developer sees how the budget lines up with the months ahead.

Underneath, the assumptions the plan depends on, in plain words. When construction dates move, revise the chart and send a new version.

  • Stages, optional stages and milestones
  • Assumptions next to the plan they shape

Checked by the principal before the developer sees it

Set an approval rule on total value, and any project budget over $150,000 waits In Review until the principal approves it. Only then can it be sent.

When the developer pushes back on the budget, Revise Last Version makes version 2 without the model, and version 1 stays in the document history.

  • Approval rules on total value or discount percentage
  • Approvers by team, role, template or customer
  • Every version kept in the document history

What goes into a project marketing proposal

The parts a developer's board expects to see, each one a block in your template.

  • The look of the project

Renders, facade and finishes in image and gallery blocks, so the board sees the campaign's tone.

  • The plan by release

A Gantt chart from appointment to the last release, with optional stages (Business plan).

  • The marketing budget

Brand, renders, campaign per release and options in a price table the developer can tick.

  • The sales fee

Fee structures and worked examples as content, agreed in your project marketing agreement.

  • Your credentials

Team, approach and recent projects from the content library, the same in every pitch.

  • Directors' signatures

Each director signs from their own link, and the initial marketing payment is taken on signing.

Project marketing questions, answered

What is a project marketing proposal?

It is the pitch a project marketing agency sends a developer to win the appointment for an off-the-plan or land release project: the approach, the brand and renders, the campaign by release, a marketing budget, the sales fee and the next steps. In QuoteCloud it is one branded document the developer's directors can sign.

Can the proposal show the campaign timeline?

Yes. On the Business plan a Gantt chart block can show the release stages, from brand and CGI renders through the display suite opening to each release, inside the proposal. It is your plan set out for the developer; QuoteCloud does not manage the project.

Can the developer choose budget options?

Yes. Put optional items such as a display suite, a project film or a model in the price table as optional rows. The developer ticks what they want and the total follows. Price tables are on Essentials and above.

Can large budgets be approved before they are sent?

Yes. On the Business plan, an approval rule on total value (or discount percentage) holds the proposal In Review until the named approvers approve it, and only then can it be sent.

Is the sales fee charged through QuoteCloud?

No. The sales fee is set out as content with worked examples, and agreed in your project marketing agreement. QuoteCloud can take one payment on signing, such as an initial marketing payment, through your Stripe or PayPal account.

Does QuoteCloud handle off-the-plan contracts or deposits?

No. Buyers' contracts, deposits and settlements stay with the developer's lawyers and your usual systems. QuoteCloud is for the proposals, agreements and signatures between your agency and the developer.
