How do I send a fixed-price plumbing quote with QuoteCloud?
Start from your fixed-price template, add labour and parts from your product catalogue, add any options the customer can tick, and send the link or hand over your tablet. The customer reads it, ticks options, signs with a legally binding eSignature and pays the deposit you set, through Stripe or PayPal.
Can the quote show what isn't included?
Yes. Write the inclusions and exclusions into your template as content, and adjust them per job. They are part of the document the customer signs, alongside the price, the options and your terms, so the scope is agreed in writing before you start.
Can I hide my costs and margins?
Yes. The product catalogue holds each item's price and cost, and price tables can carry cost and margin columns that only your team sees. The customer sees the item, quantity, rate and amount. Price tables and the catalogue are on Essentials and up.
What happens when a fixed-price quote expires?
Set an expiry date on the quote. The Expiring Soon filter lists the quotes about to lapse, so you can follow up or revise the price. QuoteCloud doesn't send reminders by itself, and an expired quote isn't renewed automatically: you send a new or revised one.
Does QuoteCloud book the job or create the invoice?
No. QuoteCloud handles the quote, the signature and the payment on signing. It doesn't schedule or dispatch jobs, issue work orders or create invoices. A signed quote can start a job in ServiceM8 or simPRO through Zapier, and Xero or QuickBooks connect natively on Business or through Zapier.
